December 22: Final, venue to be decided, 7pm.

Cork the better team so far. However, its only a matter of time before Kerry score a goal right down the centre. Need to close that up pronto

Cork dominant in the air but I hope they don't regret pumping more ball in on top of Colin Walsh who destroyed them at full forward and nearly had a goal just before HT.
Kerry began to get more possession in the 10 before HT there, they are tidy in possession and that could be a problem for Cork in the second half, getting their hands on the ball. Right now, its all to play for, big 30 minutes needed now

Cork giving the ball away too often with poor passes. Just gave another point to Kerry.

Goal up with 15 to go. You have to fancy Kerry with all the possession. The ref just will not stop blowing his bloody whistle. Tis like a non contact sport. Where do they get these fellas?

Kerry 4 points up. I'm not watching it, but I can see what you mean by possession. Cork don't have enough of it and when they do they give it away too cheaply.

0-21 to 1-15 full time. There was just this inevitably about the final score really. 2 very bad misses in normal time, 1 right in front of the goal with only the keeper to beat cost us. Lost possession at crucial stages in ET. Kerry led for the first time in the 63rd minute.

And the ref. My good God he was one of those fellas that destroys games for everyone. Kerry scored 4 points in the 2nd half of injury time. Ya, you guessed it - all frees in front of the posts.

It all adds up to a sickening unbearable loss once again, something we're well used to I suppose. Its the hope and 5 point leads in the 2nd half that kill you. We bow to our minor football masters again, when was the last time we beat them at this level? The early 10s I'd say.

Such a disappointing result. They should have clenched it in normal time. They were turned over to easy and led to easy scores for Kerry. So many things went wrong. Missing the goal chance at the end of normal time, not taking of a mark in extra time. Taking a mark but being fouled and ref playing on, the crossfield ball that went over the line. They got turned over too easily, given a few dodgey passes that were intercepted. What was the story with the ref. It was like every time Kerry went forward you know there was a free coming. He made some awful decisions and clearly played for the draw in normal time. Why do I feel like as a county we get a raw deal from refs way to often.

Ya he was definitely biased toward Kerry, I always try avoid saying stuff about these fellas but this lad took the biscuit, infuriating.
Just like to say it was a great effort from Cork, some nice players and they looked well drilled and ready by management. But unfortunately its not good enough to beat them and our continuing inability to beat them is now a serious problem.

Both minor teams eliminated in 4 days. Its just NOT GOOD ENOUGH for Cork

According to proc, 31 frees to 11 with 8 of the last 10 kerry points coming from frees. Says it all.

Anybody else notice a bit of a crowd in the game yesterday? And they made some noise. The commentator refered to the Kerry bench making noise a few times but I don't think they could have been as loud. I had one eye on the u20 hurling also and there was nobody there bar the panel and media. Now I'm all for a select few ppl especially family attending games during but I don't think circumstances has changed so was surprised to see a few ppl there in the stand. Maybe im paranoid but was thinking Kerry pulled a fast one to get a bit of a crowd behind them last night!

I'm pretty sure anyone under 18 gets accompanied by one parent or guardian.
Pretty decent Cork noise for 65th minute equaliser as well but not much besides that.

That's right! Totally forgot about being accompanied by an adult.

Kerry beat Clare tonight by 2-14 to 1-7 in the Munster Final. Grrr

Great win. Not a great performance, but the ref didn't let the game develop. Any bit of flow to the game Cork were the better team. Subs contributed handsomely again. I would have questioned some decisions but a great win no. The less. You could see what it meant to the players at the final whistle. Sherlock spoke very well also. Hopefully the Final will go ahead and we can push for the big one. Special mention to Barret. He was immense again tonight!
