Lk up 6-5 at water break. Limerick have 6 attacks, 6 points. Cork wasting possession, too much short passing for my liking. Lk clogging up the Cork half forward line where things are breaking down.
We'll do well to win this

Lk 2-9, Cork 0-10 at halftime.

1 minute of absolute madness that sums up Cork hurling.

The half forward no 10 gets creamed by a perfect shoulder out the wing. Cork as usual are looking for the free. Meanwhile Limerick waltz through for the opening goal. A sucker punch.
Worse to come though. The goalie decides to hit the puck out straight to the no 10 who has just gotten up from attention. He miscontrols it, loses possession and Limerick waltz through for goal number 2.
It will probably cost Cork the game.
Limerick way more economical with possession, punishing Cork. Ben Cunningham to me shoots from everywhere. Cork obviously haven't practised sideline cuts cause they are shocking as well.
Those goals were killers

2-15 to 0-11 at water break. Getting hammered now. Can't do anything right. What a shocking display.

This is hard to watch. Lk waltzing through for every score

4 or 5 wides in a row. No way back except for a Christmas miracle.

Can't fault the young lads. Just not good enough. Didn't see any particular new style of hurling or game plan I expected under Cusack. No player stood out. U20s up next. I fear the worst.

I'm dreading watching the u20s later after that absolute shit show. Cork hurling at intercounty is on life support.
I thought things were bad after our seniors. How wrong I was. Christ Almighty.

Never seen such a lifeless performance. We are truly the whipping boys in hurling now. That's surely the Cusack over the senior talk up in smoke now. No idea what to say after such a performance. But it's a sad that we are becoming all to familiar with them. What are we to do? How do we change the culture in the County. We have completely lost the mental strength it takes to win a game or dog it out if the fire. Cusack and Sean Óg were part of a team that you could never write off. These young lads liked like they were out for a puck around.

Very disappointing. Cork looked to be actually getting something going and were two points ahead when they conceded those two soft goals. They seemed to have thrown in the towel after that.

More intensity, hooking and blocking evident, playing as a team, desire, will to win. Opposite of earlier on. Look like they play to a pla.
Its by no means perfect and tbh, Limerick don't look great but its a decent lead.
With the state of our hurling teams at the minute, its still edgy and god only knows what could go wrong but so far so good
