Well well well

Castlelyons 3-23, Na Piarsaigh 2-26 AET

CL win 9-8 on penalties and now play Glen Rovers in the semi

Game started on bright sunshine and ended at 10 o clock in darkness.
That's very unfair on NaP, can these condensed split seasons not accommodate replays anymore. 26 penalties taken in the shootout ffs to end your amateur season
I think it's wrong

The distance between the executive in the GAA and its members seem to increasing yearly. They simply don’t listen anymore. The cashless gates – they don’t care. A lot of counties – including Cork - have returned to under 18 for the minor grade and under 21 for the grade above it, but the  executive have decided to stick to under 17 and under 20 for the inter-county competitions. The only body they seem prepared to listen to now appears to be the GPA, which does NOT represent the majority of the GAA’s playing members.

Blarney 3-20, Killeagh 3-16. Killeagh fought all the way. Pádraig Power 1-2, the goal scored when he was on his knees. Mark Colman everywhere in the first half

Why didn't Seamie Harnedy play with his club? He did play with Immokilly

Harnedy's club is St. Ita's.

Killeagh and St. Ita's combine only for underage competitions.

Glen Rovers 3-16, Castlelyons 1-16

Closer than the score suggested. CL. pushed the Glen hard all the way and will rue some missed goal chances
They led by a point with 9 minutes to go but Glen struck for 2 goal.
Pa Horgan started his first game since the AI final, scored 2-9, all but a goal from frees

Bride currently lead Blarney 0-10 to 0-9 at HT

Blarney win 2-19 to 1-11.
A total collapse by Bride Rovers in the second half and Blarney eased to victory. Barrett 0-3, P Power 0-4 from play. Mark Colman in the thick of it at half back as well

Probably the 2 best teams in the final now

Rovers only scored one point in the second half. Their goal came only in injury time

Glen Rovers 3-17, Blarney 1-12
Glen back up Premier Senior and with the 2 winning minor teams coming through, they can push on in the next few years

Always in control. Blarney threatened a comeback midway through the second half, bringing the gap back to 5 points after being 12 behind at one point. Mark Coleman was on fire at this point but The Glen settled down and pulled away. Horgan was prominent

Barry O'Mahony was woeful on commentary on radio, I've no idea what happened really. Stick to the news

Barry O'Mahony is very poor on the echo podcast too. Offers nothing. Hurley and the other lad far superior.
No celebration at all from the Glen at full time. Says a lot about the mentality. Their only mission this year was to get back up
