Hugh O Connor is one of our top scorers and he's No 16?
Where did you get that team? I can't find any team on our official web site which is a joke shop anyway.
Something went wrong between copy and paste!

Won by a point. Nearly threw it away, heart in mouth stuff.
Well done, stopped a Kerry 9 in a row in Munster at Minor, imagine that.

A sweet win. Lucky enough to be at it, maybe Cork should have won by more and they were clearly the better team but make no mistake Cork did great to hold on to that. their skill gained them the lead and their heart gained them the win.

Thanks for that, is it streamed anywhere?

How in the name of St Jude can a referee justify giving one team 15 frees in one half of a boys football game and give the other boys 5 effing frees.
Glad I'm not in Thurles as I'd be very tempted to hop over that low railing and question the parentage of that Clare fecker.
Having said that, Cork are south of bad.

Re: Minor Football 2021
Game over but not without more evidence that ref Maguire did all he could for Limerick. Somebody from the Cork camp must have given him an earful at half time as the free count balanced to 11 each in that half but that does not tell the real story. Most if not all Limerick frees were questionable while the Cork players almost needed a blood transfusion before he blew for a free.
Subs O Herlihy, Hayes and Crowley saved the day in spite of the ref, in particular Hayes who looked comfortable in possession and slowed everything down until he found the correct pass or kick. The TG4 coverage was good but no script for the subs like a main TV channel which left us in the lurch a wee bit. Different commentator tonight but not bad at all and he didn't tell us that Kiskeam is in West Cork either, unlike his more established compatriot Ger Canning. OMG.
Hugh O Connor scored 1-7 with 2 points from frees which is a fair old haul but unlike his normal self, he had 4 wides, two of which were nearly unforgivable. Without Hugh, the forward cupboard is bare and Niall Kelly had a nightmare until replaced. Must have been sick IMHO. He's a lot bettter than that. Jack O Neill is frustrating to watch, even if he did score a point early on and sadly Corcoran isn't related to a No 13.
I suppose we shouldn't be too critical as it was a final and they are only young lads, but they seemed to be lost for football ideas after going 1-1 to zero in front early on.

Didn't see the game but job done
Well done to all team and management. That's what we would have asked for at the start of the season.
Now let's go on and win the AI.

Fair play to the young rebels. Saw the last 15 and they looked unreal. Winning every thing and plenty of goal chances. A clean sweep of munster now underage. Some going.

Re: Minor Football 2021
Ya the website needs some updating.
But i spotted this on their Facebook page this morning (it seems to be more updated to be fair) -
Cork GAA have three teams announcements this evening.
6pm: Minor Football- All-Ireland Semi-Final vs Tyrone
7pm: Minor Hurling - All-Ireland Final vs Galway
9pm: Senior Hurling - All-Ireland Final vs Limerick
Hope this helps. Some amount of stuff going on

Looks like they are keeping this classified information kinda hidden from prying eyes in Tyrone and Galway.
Can't trust them hoors.

Re: Minor Football 2021
Fucking hell, Tyrone are so superior it’s frightening: better kickers, better catchers, kick out strategy and more committed……..as poor a display the basic skills of football that I have seen from cork, hopefully they don’t get destroyed totally but keeping to within 6-8 points at the end would be some going

Re: Minor Football 2021
Tyrone are stronger and quicker, yes, but Cork are not even doing the basics. When Cork are taking the kick out, Tyrone mark man-to-man. At the other side of the pitch, when Tyrone are taking the kick-out, they have men loose all over the shop. Tyrone are well on top, anyway, but why do Cork have to make it so easy for them? At the very least make them fight for their kick-outs.

Re: Minor Football 2021
Christ Almighty that was some mangling. Take the keeper out of that team and we lost it by 30 points.
Fellas looking in wondering how in the world Cork won the Munster championship.
A terrible day for Cork football again

Re: Minor Football 2021
I've seen nothing like that Cork keeper since Billy Morgan. He saved a penalty and at least three other one-on-one shots. Totally hung out to dry by his back line. Surely he's a future senior. He even got Man of the Match.
