Re: Minor Football 2021
The interview with the Cork keeper afterwards was also painful to watch, poor fella

Having seen them in the Munster Final, I'm not overly surprised what happened. The basic football skills were missing in the MF and the coaching also was of a very poor quality. Tyrone looked liked men, we looked like boyeens. Meath V Tyrone minor final should be a cracking game though.

Not to be their day but let's hope they bounce back. They did break the Kerry stranglehold on Munster. Hopefully Ricken can improve them further as they push along. Thanks to all for their efforts all year

Re: Minor Football 2021
Looks like that " High Performance Manager" has sh1t on the course once again, or is it the "Talent Identification Manager"?
It might even be the "Junior Administrator" who took advice from "The Project Co-ordinator" leaving this mess to be cleaned up by the "Media Liaison Officer"
All of the above should be tied to a bulls tail and scuttered to death. There really is no excuse for a county the size of Cork with such a high number of clubs and players, failing to compete at every level of gaelic football.
It probably boils down to the colleges and lack of male teachers etc.etc.

Re: Minor Football 2021
Meath beat Tyrone yesterday by a point to win this.
Now, im going to hazard a guess here. Theres no way the Leinster and Ulster championship are that far ahead of anything that came out of Munster so im gonna say Cork underperformed against Tyrone, not just a case of a superior team in Tyrone.

Cork certainly underperformed against Tyrone, but Tyrone then underperformed against Meath. Some of their decision making and shot taking was incredibly poor yesterday. Whereas against Cork everything went over, yesterday it seemed like they thought that it would magically happen again - far too much outside-of-the-boot shot shaping, silly angles, six shots into the keeper's arms.
This is minor, performance levels vary as we know. Proof of that - Cork beat Meath by a goal in a challenge match earlier this year.
