Who said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results?
Whoever said it, CCB didn't take too much notice.

Ya I think Deane,Clancy and O Rourke.Lads what way will Hugh O Connor lean next year. The footballers cant stop losing players. It a joke at this stage.Brian Hayes would be some footballer if he played with them.O Connor would be an awful loss to the football if he went hurling.

What utter nonsense is this!
If you have no interest in Club Football then don't bother commenting with negativity. Just ignore it.
I for one went to Nemo V Collig and am looking forward to many more

Bitter, I saw a new name on the Nemo forward line, Oisin Whyte.
Is he any good? I presume he's an import?

Well done to Sean Hurson, who refereed today's All Ireland Final, not one mention of his name during or after the game. As it should be. Not like last Sunday's referee.

Hurson should never be reffing another Ulster team in a final no more than Murphy in Munster.
I watched it on BBC (To avoid listening to Fitzmaurice) and even the Nordies and Philly McMahon questioned a few decisions that went Armagh's way.
Nothing very noticeable but decisions that influenced the outcome and made our President Burns a happy man.
Having said that, according to TSG stats Galway had twice as many wides as Armagh so they could and should have won in spite of the ref. Walsh had a dreadful game by his standard and they didn't use Comer at all. Finnerty was a huge loss and he would have converted two of the frees that Walsh missed.

Re: Cork senior football team 2022
Walsh kicked a few of those frees like a man who was worried about an injury. Comer hasn’t looked fit for a while. Galway had enough turnover ball to win two games but they either didn’t give the ball to Silke, who was breaking up the middle into good positions, fast enough or didn’t feed it inside fast enough and they allowed Armagh to funnel back.
The story of the last few weeks is that teams need a few players who can kick points from outside 35m to win All Irelands.
If the stories of retirements from the Cork camp are true, then best of luck and thanks to the players who are retiring. It’s a big ask to be an inter county player these days and an even bigger ask when you must suspect every year that it is more likely to end with grief than glory.

TBH I was mainly concentrating on Ballincollig. Podsies young fella Darragh is a definite prospect and Sean O Neill, although very lightweight was very impressive. Think Darragh has all the attributes to hopefully make inter County

Ballymartle..........I presume there's no football team there Tipp?
He must have impressed somebody in Trábeg at school.
I keep an eye on Cork underage teams but Whyte's name didn't crop up anywhere.
Thanks for the reply 'Bitter'. I agree about Podsy's son. He has pace to burn and plenty football skill. Haven't seen him live but TV pics tell us he's a chip off the old block.

Tough luck on the young man. He looked like a massive talent but didn't show it this year anyway.

Re: Cork senior football team 2022
"Cork football boss John Cleary has confirmed his management team for next season.
It’s the same as this year with the addition of St Finbarr’s Jim O’Donoghue as a selector and coach. O’Donoghue is a former Cork footballer and knows the club scene on Leeside very well having previously been involved with the Barrs"
Sp the same set up (including Walsh) and one new addition.
We all called for a revamp and this is what we get. Expect more of the same sideways shit

Get the feeling his injuries have mentally screwed with him

Re: Cork senior football team 2022
Nemo gave East Kerry a hiding this evening in Glenfkesk 5-14 to 1-13. The Cliffords didn't tog but Nemo were very impressive.
Mark Cronin was MOTM followed closely by the ageless Paul Kerrigan.
Nemo used a host of subs in the 2nd half and all of them had football and pace to burn.
I'm hearing they have another challenge lined up with Austin Stacks and on tonight's performance I'd be tempted to have a small wager on them to win the cup in Cork this year.
