I didn't realize Kildare finished above Meath in the league. Mea culpa.

The way i see it is the 11teams who finished above us in the league are through plus westmeath who won tailteann last yr, so thats 12 out of 16 spots gone... of the 4 remaining spots clare and sligo have 2 of those as got through to provincial finals that leaves two spots left so both offaly and down HAVE to beat armagh and louth for us to be knocked out which to be honest i can see easily happening, i'd have more faith in louth than armagh doing us a favour hopefully that was offalys 'all ireland' v meath on sunday

Kildare technically still there too but not a prayer theyre gonna beat dublin

If we didn't qualify id have no complaints, it would be fully deserved not being able to beat meath louth in the league and clare in the championship was gutless stuff.... any decent team with a bit of guts or stones would've won those games, look how bad meath are now and we let them piss all over us in our own backyard

I'm rooting for Louth, Dublin and Armagh this weekend. Only two of them need to win for us to compete for Sam.

Heard the seniors went up to louth and wallaped them in a friendly a couple of wks back, apparently it was more a run out for the 2nd team and cleary left most of the regulars at home.... no harm as the team was far too settled during the league and he didn't rotate enough to give squad players a chance to impress... some of the guys who embarassed us against clare deserve to have their spot under pressure.... liam donovan is back too along with clancy

Liam O Donovan is injured and will probably miss club championship. His hamstrings are not healing just doing gym work

Beat louth so and and ud imagine that should be enough to qualify, we still probably won't beat louth tho but its an easier prospect than what clare have if we'd of won that game in ennis

We are so foooked. Beating Louth is our only possible good result here but based on how good they are going that's also a major doubt. TBF on form we merit being seeds 4. We are the weakest in that group

I'd hope Cleary would use this to start building for the future rather than shite, negative see how long we can go in a match tactics
