I'll say no more than this in case I upset someone and they're only young fellas - that will spell the end of John Meyler with Cork thank god. A terrible appointment

But Tip, its the fella who appointed him in the first place is where the problem started. Our CEO dropped Jamie Wall a number of years ago for JBM - Regardless of the legend he is, that should not have happened - Wall has proven to be a fantastic coach and I'm sure he would have made a better hand of those lads who played this afternoon. Those young minors tried their best, but bereft of any idea of coaching - Unlike Wexford who were tbf a very well drilled and coached team.

The Kilmeen man would want to get his finger out and start walking the walk - Rebel Og has to be re looked at immediately - It's simply not working - Don't start me on the young fellas playing football - Just to make our weekend, Limerick only draw with Waterford tomorrow

Time maybe to look at the rolling manager thing at minor. Whatever about Rebel Óg which is a massive complicated debate, this one in particular doesn't seem to work.

And  " Aghada's Trevor O’Keeffe, Sean Barrett (Carrigtwohill), Courcey Rovers' Diarmuid Corcoran and Mark Austin from Sars, are confirmed as selectors and coaches", it says.

I remember Fergal as a big tough center-forward who fulfilled the old adage of "burstin' up the play". I just hope he's not the second coming of John Myeler, from which the Good Lord protect us. I don't know what to expect of the "selectors and coaches". The Echo article isn't exactly a mine of information.

The one year is a bit odd. Perhaps they're waiting for someone else to be free. Jamie Wall?

Afaik, the hurling has been a 1 year as it gives the job to the 16s manager from the year before, who was previously the 15s manager and so on. Same manager for the age group from U14s up
Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing I dont know

Whereas Keith Ricken gets 2 years. Maybe he asked and demanded it?

I suppose as long as it doesn't go beyond under 20, it can't do too much damage. I don't think it should be set in stone, though.
