All correct athnasquare, we had some brutal years at minor.

The finalists in Munster, do both go through to the AI series?

Yes, I think so.
Cork are through now, and the other finalists will be as well.

Great win tonight.

It was Tipp. My fault for cutting the heading when posting. which I do when printing it for my brother. It never occurred to me that people wouldn't head over the the Cork website to check. Look -

So last night's win was bigger than I thought, guaranteed then a munster final and at least one game in the AI series, that's what we want for player development

Clare bet Limerick in the semi final tonight, 2-21 to 2-25, so they'll play Cork in the final next week. I would imagine Clare will be favourites.

Bad few days for the Limerick machine

Na, my stream isnt working.
And Cork arent working, its a mirror image of the group game but actually worse, Clare with 1-4 in 8 minutes and its all over with 22 to go, Clare playing with total confidence and will coast to victory

Clare 1-19, Cork 0-15. Congrats to Clare, a long awaited tile, good for hurling people up there,. They're going well.

Disaster again for Cork in the second half. Clare destroyed us. Didn't see it but it appears that the style of play was wrong. How infuriating is that? Only for Barry Walsh it would have been 12 points plus.
The team are way too inconsistent.

Play the winners ofLeinster next which will probably be Galway. Twill be all over after that I'm afraid

Are you sure of that last part Tipp? On PROC they're saying that the Munster and Leinster winners are straight through to the All-Ireland final.

Disappointing result, but perhaps not unexpected. After all, didn't Clare also beat them 12-7 in the round robin?

A lot of swearing and cursing at Donal Og over last year's minors, which were not supposed to have been great anyway before the season even began. He took the job because no one else would and I thought he did better than anyone expected because he got them to the Munster semi-final, where they lost to Clare 2-16 to 0-16 (I think). Tonight, with a supposedly better team and manager, they lost by 7 points.

Fair play to Barry Walsh last night. Unbelievable courage to out and perform like that after what he's been through. A real proper hero

Barry Walsh and the Clare corner back Gunning for Clare were the two stand out players of the game. Walsh looked the most filled out on the pitch. A great prospect.

Galway 10 minute burst before HT puts the game to bed. Cork look very limited.
Could get ugly second half

Totally outclassed. That's a fine Galway side with 3 excellent forwards in particular in Kileen, Niland and Rabbitte who bullied d Cork halfbacks all day.

Still though, from a player development point of view, Cork did well, theyd a good run. Played 6 proper games, one less than Clare (and Galway?) and hopefully they'll kick in at under 20.

By the way, I wish minor was still under 18
